Leita Steel is privately owned and is an internationally recognised Southern African based structural steel fabricator. The company was founded and established by Mr Adelfio Leita in 1968 and has been successfully operating for more than 50 years. Our main manufacturing facility operates from 19290m² of property which is capable of producing 7200 tonnes of quality controlled structural steel work and structural plate work per annum. We supply thousands of tonnes of steelwork to the mining, industrial, commercial and architectural sectors and are actively involved in projects throughout the African continent. As a result of our prudent financial management the company is debt free and owners of substantial property, vehicle, plant and machinery. This, alongside technical expertise and the sophisticated and conscientious manner in which we complete our work, also enables us to handle turnkey and management contracts efficiently. We have manufactured and supplied structural steel to many countries globally and have a exemplary track record of successful projects and have a multitude of satisfied clients.
The company’s major activities involve: Project Management, Design, Detail Draughting, Structural Steel Fabrication, Transport, Erection, Installation and Corrosion Protection of Structural Steelwork for Factories, Warehouses, Stadia, Offices, Shopping Centre’s, Aircraft Hangers, Conveyor Steelwork, Mine Structures, Plant Steelwork, Plate Girders, Power Stations and Platework such as Hoppers, Tanks, Bins, Chutes, Launders, Hard wearing liners.
